My name is Noreen O’Connor and I am the Owner and Real Estate Broker of JAX Realty, LLC. Originally from Babylon, New York my family moved to Weeki Wachee, Fl, the world famous Home of the Live Mermaids in 1986. I graduated from Florida State University and began my career in corporate sales where I excelled in marketing to many of the Fortune 500 companies. I quickly earned an abundant amount of recognition and in a short time advanced into upper management, ultimately becoming the West Coast Regional Vice President of Headhunter.net, known today as Career Builders. 17 years ago I took those skills and contacts and began my real estate career as a sales agent and soon after a broker opening my own brokerage that has become JAX Realty today.

During my time at Florida State, I met my husband and 26 years later I now live in St. Johns, Florida with our 3 wonderful children that enjoy Florida’s best public schools. My husband is a real estate/commercial litigation attorney and is our “in house” counsel available to review any documents and provide legal advice when needed. My goal is to create a real estate brokerage that is family oriented and focused on the needs and desires of our valuable clients as we serve the existing and the soon-to-be residence of the greater Jacksonville area as well as investors. So far so good!

I am a small-town girl from Alachua, FL with a deep appreciation for the outdoors and self-sufficiency.

My husband and I moved to Jacksonville over 16 years ago, and even now, we continue to discover new things that deepen our appreciation for Northeast Florida. The First Coast has both a small town and big city feel. Although I am very familiar with Northeast Florida as a whole, I am particularly skilled in St. Johns County, Mandarin, St. Augustine, and Julington Creek areas. This area is home to my family- It’s where we live, worship and where my children attend school and play sports.

Before embarking on my career as a Realtor, I worked in the healthcare field. By utilizing my passion for service, transitioning from healthcare to real estate was seamless. As a real estate professional, customer service is at the foundation of my business, and I am proud to maintain my unwavering dedication to others. Clients satisfaction means answering questions whenever they come up, not just between 9 and 5.

I was raised in a small town in the Midwest that instilled in me a strong work ethic and to strive to go “above and beyond”. After graduating college, I went to work for the St. Petersburg Police Department. I purchased a home through the county’s “first time homebuyer program”. This process started my passion for real estate. I loved that first home!

I left law enforcement to work in sales and marketing. I consistently met my goals and was recognized as a “top performer” with the company. I then moved to Colorado where I was hired as a Loan Officer with one of the largest lenders. This mortgage experience allowed me to learn the loan process which is a huge benefit in helping the client which home meets their budget and get to closing.

Now I am raising my family in the Greater Jacksonville Area and I am familiar with all the areas including Duval, Clay and St Johns counties. With my 20 years’ experience of buying, selling and investing in real estate, both on a personal and professional level, along with my proven negotiation skills and background in marketing and the mortgage industry, I will get the job done!
